This painting portrays a whirlwind of energy created with a palette knife and broad strokes. The chaotic colors and various directions of brush strokes mirror the pandemonium of balancing everyday life.
 
Despite the storm and any intense emotions of sadness or fear, a gentle horse stands ready to carry you safely on his back. I wanted to represent how a horse, with its intelligence and sensitivity to emotions, can calm the inner soul.
 
This horse is undisturbed amidst the surrounding energy. His mane with feathers is not affected by the storm and his eyes are soft. It feels as if one can close their eyes and put their hand on him, and all the turmoil will wash away…
